The scenic drive from Mapleton through to Maleny taking in Montville and Flaxton is one of the best in Queensland and attracts large numbers of day visitors. The many shops and restaurants and accommodation units along the highway and scattered amongst the various villages provide a wealth of opportunities for an enjoyable day out or a longer stay if required.
This sub tropical paradise offers a quiet and peaceful environment, supported by a network of local shops and services, while the larger centres of Nambour, Maroochydore and Caloundra, with their hospitals, medical specialists and educational facilities, are all within an hours drive.
